MIDTERM GRADE ENTRY DEADLINE FOR UA PROFESSORS
- Proper Netiquette: How to communicate properly with your classmates and instructor.
- Email Policy: How to contact your instructor to ensure a prompt response.
- Missed Work: Info on the make-up policy for missed or late work.
- Grading Policy: Info on deadlines for disputing grades, rounding, etc.
- Formatting of Submissions: If I can't open it or read it, I can't grade it.
- Academic Misconduct: Do's and Don't's to avoid an unpleasant meeting with the dean.
- Accommodations (ODS, military, and student athlete): It is the student's responsibility to ensure all accommodation requests are prompt and appropriate.
- Extra Credit: Details on opportunities for bonus points in the course (only applies to Prof. Treadway's courses).
Tech Issues
Students are solely responsible for ensuring they have the properly functioning materials to complete all course work and keep up with course announcements, reminders, and updates. If you have technical issues, it is up to you as a student to seek out the most appropriate and timely methods of correcting these issues. You may be required to provide documentation of your communication with tech support should such issues arise.

- Keeping track of deadlines and due dates as outlined in the course schedule.
- Taking responsibility for missed deadlines by reviewing the policy on missed or late work in the syllabus and acting on this policy in a timely and appropriate fashion.
- Maintaining civility and respect for one another in both written and oral forms of communication and discussion.
- Reviewing the course content provided by your instructor on your own time in preparation for class discussion and activities.
- Reading and following instructions carefully prior to attempting an assignment or assessment.
- Troubleshooting issues by looking at available resources first and trying to solve the problem (e.g., if you have a question about the course, check the syllabus for an answer before emailing your professor). This includes seeking out the appropriate assistance for tech issues.
- Adhering to all policies of the course and the university as detailed in the syllabus and by your course instructor.
