MIDTERM GRADE ENTRY DEADLINE FOR UA PROFESSORS
Midterm grading for 100-299-level courses is required by the College of Arts & Sciences as a measure of checking in on students who might be falling behind in coursework and offer resources to those who may need it. Unless you have a grade of "F - stopped attending" or "F - never attended", this grade does not affect scholarships or registration, and it is not reflected on your transcripts.
Midterm grades will be reported to the Registrar's Office in the week prior to the college deadline. Therefore, any assignments incomplete at the time of grade submission will be factored in as a zero; however, any assignments associated with future modules will not be included.
I will not be updating the midterm grades once they are submitted to the college. As long as you plan to complete any work that was unfinished (and provided you follow through on that plan), then you should not necessarily be concerned about the midterm grade. You should not take this grade personally or expect that it is reflective of your final grade in the course.
I will fully update all course grades again during Dead Week. You should not expect a response to any request to alter midterm grades.
