How to Contact the Course Instructor

Average response time: ~48 hours (not including weekends)
I am also an advisor in the department, so during advising season (March-April in Spring; October-November in Fall), response times may be delayed.

All emails are required to adhere to the Email Policy.

Before you send that email/message...

• Take a breath - don't panic over something that likely has an easy solution.
• See if the info you need has already been addressed -- check the syllabus, Blackboard, and any other available materials. I can assure you that nine times out of ten, the answer to your question is already listed somewhere.
• Are you including the necessary info?
  • ​Do you include specific details (class info, exam number, etc.)?
  • Are all of your questions included? Please don't spam my inbox with multiple emails!
• Check the tone - remember that things come across differently than you may intend via text. See the guidelines on Proper Netiquette for help. 
• Wait for a response - If you're sending a secondary email or message, have you given me 48+ hours to respond to your first email (or more, if it was on Friday, over the weekend, or during advising season)?​​
